1. WHO WE ARE
WO App ("WO", "we", "our", or "us") provides a wardrobe-management and styling mobile application (the "App") and the woapp.com website (together with the App, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Services.
2. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information processed by WO in connection with the Services, except where a separate privacy notice is displayed.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
3.1 Information you provide directly
- Account & Profile: name, email address, profile photo, date of birth, gender, physical attributes.
- Wardrobe Details: images of clothing, item type, brand, size, price, descriptions.
3.2 Automatically collected information
- Device & Usage: device model, operating system, app version, time-stamps, interaction events.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data collected via Sentry.
3.3 Cookies & Similar Technologies (website only)
We use cookies to maintain your session and analyse site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Authenticate you and operate your account.
- Store and display your wardrobe and profile data.
- Process images (e.g., background removal) and generate AI styling suggestions.
- Monitor, debug, and improve the Services.
- Send service notices (e.g., security alerts, policy updates).
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING (EEA/UK USERS)
We process personal information when it is necessary to (i) perform our contract with you, (ii) pursue our legitimate interests (e.g., improving security), (iii) comply with a legal obligation, or (iv) with your consent (e.g., optional promotions). You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We never sell or rent your personal data. We disclose information only:
- Service providers - Supabase (hosting & auth), Google (OAuth), MSG91 (SMS OTP), Sentry (diagnostics), OpenAI (AI features, where enabled).
- Legal & Safety - to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business Transfers - in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.
7. DATA RETENTION
We keep data for as long as you maintain an account or as required to fulfil the purposes described above. After account deletion, we erase or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law.
8. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES
Subject to local law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email support@wo.life.

9. SECURITY
We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, and you use the Services at your own risk.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We and our providers operate in India, the United States, and other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. TRACKING & ADVERTISING
WO App does not track users for advertising purposes and does not integrate advertising SDKs. Consequently, we do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission on iOS.
13. PERMISSIONS DISCLOSURE (ANDROID)
- CAMERA - capture photos of wardrobe items.
- READ / WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE - select and upload images.
- INTERNET / NETWORK - sync data with Supabase servers.
Refusing a required permission may disable related features.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version in-app and on our website and, where appropriate, notify you 7 days before changes take effect.
